• Enterprise Holdings shifts to biodiesel
  • Enterprise Holdings, which owns and operates more than one million cars and trucks worldwide under its Alamo, Enterprise and National Car Rental brands, is shifting its entire North American fleet of more than 600 airport shuttle buses to biodiesel fuel by spring.

Buses in nine markets are immediately being converted to run on biodiesel fuel in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, Raleigh/Durham, San Antonio and San Diego.

Biodiesel is a clean burning alternative fuel source, produced from renewable resources such as plant oils, animal fats, used cooking oil and even new sources such as algae.
